Testimonial of my first Shivapat experience
(David Schulz)
I want to share my first experience of being blessed by my Master Yogiraj SatGuruNath Siddhanath by bestowing Shivapat on me with you. Sara shared hers a few days ago and inspired me to follow her example.
When GuruNath entered the hall in Berlin in the summer of 2009, where about 100 persons were waiting for him, it immediately turned silent and a vibration of love and peace filled the hall. I instantly felt at home. Although I still clung to my doubting and western scientifically formed mind I managed to open my heart and to listen to him without preconceptions.
When GuruNath told us that he was already working on our chakras during the Satsang and would visit some of us during sleep the following night I thought: “Alright, this sounds really strange to me, but lets see what happens.” The only change I felt was that my mind became very quite and peaceful. And although I could not remember him visiting me in my sleep some others told me about their amazing dreams and experiences during the night.
On the next day he blessed us by giving us Shivapat and these unforgettable moments of pure bliss are still so vivid in my memory as if it had happened yesterday:
Without a long preface he told us he would share his Soul consciousness of thoughtless awareness with us. The only thing he asked us for was to open our hearts and to look into his eyes without blinking. After he clapped his hands a powerful “wave” of bliss hit me – and stayed. I looked in GuruNaths eyes and was a silent observer of the whole scene. I was not able to move my body or even to avert my eyes. Bliss is the only word describing my state to some extend.
I saw about 5-7 faces morphing on GuruNaths face including Moses, Jesus and a guy with a headband whose name I did not know. GuruNath was surrounded by a golden and green aura. His whole body was shining. Right next to him, behind his right shoulder, his Guru Babaji stood, also shining from inside and surrounded by his aura. The whole hall was filled with swirling wafts of “prana-mist”. We were all bathing in that energy. The steps of the little stage GuruNath was sitting on were shifting somehow. I do not know how but I was able to look around and at the same time lose myself in GuruNaths eyes. The persons surrounding me were not only bathing in prana but existed of energy and were also shining from within but not as bright as GuruNath and Babaji.
After some minutes that felt like hours GuruNath told us that many of us had hurting eyes because of not-blinking. I realized that my eyes where also filled with tears although my vision was not blurred. He moved one hand from left to right as if whipping away something and told us that the pain in our eyes was now gone. I still have no idea how but the tears stopped coursing and my eyes felt great even without blinking for about five minutes.
When the Shivapat ended I wanted to be in that state again immediately (I actually had the luck of experiencing Shivapat two more times since then). GuruNath bestowes this blessing on his students to motivate them to practice Kriya Yoga, the so-called “lightning path”.
I am GuruNaths disciple. He is not only an enlightened Master but also a Master of understatement since he is much more than he revealed to the public to date.
